  • April 21, 2017 – Intermittent connectivity issues connecting to AIR servers today

    Attention Technology Coordinators:

Some users have reported to AIR that they are having trouble reaching AIR servers. The servers are functioning normally, but there appears to be a problem reaching the servers.  When contacting a server over the internet, the first step is to look up the address of the server, and this step is sometimes failing.  AIR has identified the issue and is actively fixing it. The problem was due to a bad DNS entry being propagated. If districts continue to experience issues they should flush the DNS cache on their name server and the problem should resolve itself. If districts are not having any issues, we do not expect that they will.

Please contact the Help Desk if you need any additional assistance: Tel 1-844-560-7365 or IDHelpDesk@air.org.

  • AIR has posted the new NeoSpeech license verification file in TIDE. The old version is set to expire on May 3, 2017, however, we encourage all users to update the file as soon as possible. Districts will simply need to copy the new license file to the appropriate folder on Windows machines used for student testing. Districts do not need to re-install the voice pack itself if it is already installed; they only need to update the license file, or “verification.txt” file. The new verification.txt file can be found in the “General Resources” drop-down in the top right corner of TIDE under “Download Voice Pack.”
