This portal is your access point for the assessment system tools and resources.


  • The 2019-20 Paper-Pencil ELA/Literacy & Math Test Administration Manuals (TAMs) are now available in the ELA/Literacy & Math Assessments resources section under the Accessibility & Accommodations sub-folder. These documents provide procedural and policy guidance to administer the paper-pencil summative assessments.

  • The Understanding the Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment Video is now available in the ELA/Literacy & Math Assessments resources section under the System Information - Training Modules sub-folder. This video describes the Smarter Balanced summative assessment. It details the two components of the summative assessment, the Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) and the Performance Task (PT), and the the accessibility supports available for test-takers.

  • At 6:00pm MST today Thursday, October 24, the Smarter Balanced Digital Library Resources for Teacher and the ISAT Portal TIDE sign-in systems will be integrated into a single sign on, allowing users who are logged into systems in the ISAT Portal (ORS, TDS, etc) to navigate directly to the Digital Library without having to sign in with a separate Digital Library account. Once the integration is completed, new user accounts created in TIDE will be automatically provisioned in the Digital Library. Users with both TIDE and Digital Library accounts will be able to sign-in to both systems using their TIDE username and password. Questions? Updated documents include the Accessibility Resources Comparison for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 test administration; the Guidelines for Choosing Text-to-Speech or Read Aloud in Grades 3-5; the Guidelines for Read Aloud in Spanish; the Instructions for Using Embedded Glossaries; and the Usability, Accessibility, and Accommodations FAQs.
